The Hard Way

Reverie Studios proudly presents The Hard Way: a larp set in the dying days of the Crash Wrestling Alliance, a fictional independent wrestling promotion. Participants will step into the strange, seedy, incomparable world of professional wrestling–exploring the lives of their characters both inside the ring, and behind the curtain. As CWA prepares for its last-ever live event, characters face a decision about their futures: will they relocate to keep chasing the dream, or is it time to close the book on this part of their lives?

The Hard Way will take place October 20th-22nd, 2023. This event will be at the Ye Olde Commons, 120 Northside Rd, Charlton, MA 01507.
Please be sure to read the documents about the larp's design and ingredients to make sure that this event is for you! Although The Hard Way is centered on a wrestling event, many roles will be non-wrestling. All genders, sexualities and bodies are invited to act and be a part of this larp. During play, you may witness partial nudity, public displays of affection and sexuality, and simulated violence which is acted out through the lens of negotiated conflict.
When you purchase a ticket, you get the following:
- Access to generate a unique character in the world of the Crash Wrestling Alliance! This character may be a wrestler or someone outside the ring including managers, announcers, show staff, etc.
- Training in wrestling techniques by a real wrestling federation, and a free show after. Meals provided! Dinner on Friday evening (October 20th), breakfast/lunch/dinner on Saturday (October 21st), and breakfast on Sunday morning (October 21st).
- Up to 30 cabin beds available on site.
Disclaimers
- Though there is lodging on site we recommend participants find lodging at any of the nearby accommodations if comfort is desired.
- Though everyone may have the opportunity to wrestle in the event regardless of their character type (e.g. a manager), not everyone is portraying a 'wrestler' character.
- Tickets are non-refundable, though they are transferrable.
- This event is 21+ and anyone younger than that will not be admitted.
